ComfreyComfrey - Much of the healingeffect of comfrey is due to the Allantoin, this promotes the regneration of cells. Comfrey also contains B12 + calcium, making it an excellent skin remedy. For thousands of years Comfrey has been revered for its healing properties. Also known as 'knitbone'

CalendulaCalendula - Externally, it is one of the chief antiseptics and is miraculous in its speed of healing. Calendula reduces local inflammation, helps prevent scar tissue and is high in carotene - the building block for vitamin A production. It is an excellent cosmetic reedy for repairing minor damage to the skin such as broken capillaries or sunburn.

ChamomileChamomile - A soft and gentle herb suitable for most skin types. One of the best known herbs for so many conditions. It will soothe, cleanse and reduce puffiness [anti-inflammatory]. Chamomile will contribute its relaxing action and help with anxiety and insomnia. It will also speed wound healing.

MarshmallowMarshmallow - The high mucilage content will nourish and protect the skin in harsh conditions. Marshmallow forms a protective layer under which healing can take place and prevents dehydration.

Aloe VeraAloe Vera - The gel is cooling, soothing, hydrating, and stimulates the growth of new cells and tisue. Aloe leaf is also softening to the skin.

HypericumHypercium (St. Johns Wort) - Helps the pigment of the skin, is high in calcium, magnesium, zinc and vitamin C. This herb has a calming effect both internally and externally. A valuable, astringent and anti-inflammatory remedy which promotes healing.
